this factory in Baroda in 1969
to manufacture high quality
precision springs (such as Clutch
Springs, Engine Valve Springs,
Suspension Springs, Shock Absorber
Springs, Springs for Switch
Gears, for Electrical Industries,
Springs for Fuel Injection Systems,
Springs for Valves & Actuators
and all other types of Compression,
Tension and Torsion Springs
required by Automobile &
Automobile Ancillary Industry,
Tractor Industry, Electrical
Industry, Machine Tool Industry,
Engineering Industry etc. |
Mr.
G.J.Kothadia, a mechanical engineer
from B.H.U. (1961), promoted
the company. He has worked with
world - known spring steel wire
manufactures in Sweden , with
spring making machinery manufacturers
and spring testing machines
manufacturers in W.Germany and
with spring manufacturers in
Italy. |
Over
the years, the factory has expanded
its installed capacity and range
in step with growing demand\s.
As a result, to-day, this factory
caters to the needs of almost
every type of industry requiring
coil springs from 0.20 mm to
11.00 mm dia wire For this end
purpose the company has installed
fully automatic spring coiling
machines, spring machines for
tension springs and modern special
purpose machinery and equipments.
All these machines have been
obtained from world-known manufacturers
like M/s. Wafios of W.Germany,
M/s. Schenker of Switzerland
and M/s. Bobbio of Italy etc. |
The springs are made
by us generally as per customer’s
drawings by following IS 7906
and IS: 7907 (Part I), (Part
II) and (Part III) :1997 and
latest Quality Management Systems.
However we can manufacture springs
as per any other international
standards or as per customer’s
own standard. |
The company is in close
association with customers for
development of their springs
right from design to prototype
production and then regular
supplies. Hence our most of
the customers are seeking our
assistance in development of
all their critical springs. |
Our other partner Mr. Sarang
Kothadia is also an electrical
engineer and has 15 year of
experience in this field. |
Technically qualified and well-experienced
persons head all the sections
of manufacturing. Experienced
supervisors and skilled technicians/operators
are at their disposal. They
ensure every manufacturing operation
is carried out as per latest
Quality System Management. |

All the inspection facilities such
as spring load/rate testing
machines from 0-2 kg to 0-1000
kg capacity (calibrated every
year), surface plates, verniers,
micrometers, height gauges,
go-nogo gauges, dial indicators,
gauges specially developed in
accordance with customers requirements,
slip gauge box etc. are available
with us.
Raw material is procured from well-known manufacturers
like M/s. TISCO, M/s. Panyam
Cements & Mineral Industries,
M/s. Usha Martin Industries
Ltd. Each consignment of raw
material is supported by manufacturer’s
test certificate for chemical
analysis and other physical
properties. These materials
are again counter-checked by
us periodically. Strict control
of materials and careful inspection
at all stages of production
and final inspection throughout
each batch ensure that only
springs which are exactly as
per customers quality requirements
reach them with our Pre Despatch
Inspection Reports. |
Good surface finish, uniform
springs characteristics, dimensional
accuracy even after long use
in service, good fatigue properties
wherever necessary ensure good
performance by our springs. |
